We seek an experienced teacher of high school English (3 to 7 years of teaching experience preferred) who has a strong educational background, exemplary teaching skills, interest in working in at least one area outside of the classroom (athletics etc.), a desire for ongoing professional improvement, a diversity of perspective, an interest in working closely with colleagues in core courses, and a demonstrated commitment to young people. Fellows usually teach one course all year, work with a mentor teacher, become fully immersed in the academic life of the school and their academic department as well as coaching/mentoring in our required Afternoon Program.
