2008-2009 Premier
(and Basic) Memberships This service has the significant benefit of pre-screening and forwarding of candidates (over 500 candidates of color working, or eager to work, in education), done by StratéGenius- plus all the benefits of Basic Membership, including a Diversity Page (below). Membership is almost full for the 2008-2009 hiring season.
REJOINING FEE- The purpose of StratéGenius.org's service is to help schools learn how to cultivate communities of color, long-term, with the same vigor they cultivate community members with certain resources through development. A long view on developing a relationship with StratéGenius.org is paramount. Moving in and out of membership makes it difficult to establish relationships long-term, and requires adjustments of resources, which is inefficient. The rejoining fee for Premier Membership applies to those schools which were formerly members, dropped out, and want to rejoin within five years. The fee is $750.00.
Basic Membership costs $650.00 for one year if your school or nonprofit joins in the off-season: September-December; or $800.00 if you join in during high season: January-June- no other fees or costs. This service is only available to schools (typically with budgets of less than $2,000,000) so that they may participate in the work of StratéGenius.org. It allows your school to have its positions posted on our site, via a Diversity Page, and gives your school exposure to our wide network of educators and organizations. At $650 for one year, which is less than a one-day ad in a major newspaper, we feel that any school or organization truly serious about diversifying cannot ignore this opportunity. Your school is automatically enrolled to receive "Orph's Kickin Picks!" now with over 4,200 administrators and faculty nationwide and internationally, who receive resources to help them push their diversity agendas, directly in their emailboxes, monthly. The Diversity Page is a new concept in equity marketing. For years, organizations have attempted to connect with communities of color, some successfully, most not as much. The missing link is the ability for schools to cultivate communities of color, or not. A Diversity Page will help you do this by centralizing your diversity and multicultural efforts in one place- showing potential candidates, particularly candidates of color, how you are taking leadership in diversity. All memberships include a Diversity Page that is developed year-round.

Most agencies are so desperate for placements, they "over-project," meaning they send many more candidates than necessary, rather than tailor candidates to your needs. The logic is- "...one of these candidates has to stick!" This is an attitude focused on making money, rather than making relationships or being effective for your school or organization.
